Help picking a new road bike

I just sold my Bianchi via Narone 105. I want to upgrade to a full carbon road bike, maybe DA or Ultegra components.

My current options include:

A cannondale synapse 3 full Ultegra: new for 2500

Specilized roubaix comp full Ultegra: new for 2650

Cervelo R3 with carbon crank, mix DA and Ultegra: 2012, used, excellent shape for 2200.

Assuming they all fit well, any thoughts or suggestions? I realize they are all different and have their advantages.

HEy
I would look towards the
BH G6 or the Ultra light… I have the G6 and it is an amazing bang for your Buck.
They are cheaper than most of the big names and still perform amazingly well. A great Aero bike

Or if you want something a bit more well known, try the Cervelo S series or R series, great bikes swell

Thanks! I may go with the R3… Going to have my me me mechanic inspect it first.

I’m confused. Why would you SELL a bike? I thought we just added to the stable? Or is the CFO engaged in this approval process?

Sorry, no wisdom to provide in your selection. Get the one that fits best and you find sexy as hell, because you’ll want to ride it!

Tell me about it, lol. Now I only have 4… Miserable. Yes, very involved, especially living in an NYC apt. The good thing is that I sold the bike to a friend who is just starting to ride. It was a good cause.

Buy and apologize =)

That’s an acceptable disposition, IMO. Good luck with your decision!

if these are available through your local bike shop, then wow, you have a cool local bike shop. If not, it is worth thinking about going through the local shop. My experience has been that ordering from the local guys gets you treated like a king every time you come in the shop with your bike.

Get the Roubaix. You won’t regret it. It’s fast, ultracomfortable. Designed to ride cobblestone, it’ll smooth out bad asphalt and chip seal.

What type of riding are you doing? Do you race at all? Those 3 bikes are all great and seem like excellent choices.

I haven’t done a road race, only triathlons. I have my tri bike, QR illicito. I want the road bike mainly for group rides. Cycling is my favorite part of triathlon, so I may do some centuries.

The roubaix and synapse are new from a local shop. The R3 is used from a private person.

it doesn’t make any difference which of those bikes you get. Get the one with the best paint or the best price.

Or a Venge
